Tis the Season … for Recruiting

Friday, December 19th, 2008

Coaches at every level are coming back into their office after most of them were out on the road recruiting at high schools and homes across the country ever since December 1st.

Now that they have gathered their film and taken a look at most of their prospects in person, they will spend much of the next two weeks evaluating all of their film and deciding what grades to give their potential recruits.  Their evaluations allow them to rank their prospects and decide which of them they deem worthy of an official visit or possibly scholarship money.

All a prospect can do at this point is make sure the coaching staff has received his film and reach out to the coach with an email or phone call in order to inquire what they thought of him as a prospect.  They may or may not tell you, but the good people will be honest and let the prospect know where they stand.
