Signing Date is Near

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009

We have spoken with a ton of coaches that are still deciding what prospects they want and how much financial aid/scholarship money they are going to be able to offer them so the recruiting process is still not over even though signing date is still around the corner for the 2009 class.

We just spoke with one Division I FCS Recruiting Coordinator that is still on the road finalizing this year’s class.  It is important that if you  have not received an offer as of yet that you submit your film to more schools.  Most of the available scholarship money is starting to dwindle down at the Division I level and your best bet may be Division II, III, or NAIA if you have as of yet not received an offer.

It is up to YOU to make sure your film gets in the right hands.

Go Big is Growing- College coaches are sick and tired of getting thousands of DVDs through the mail and the response we got this week in Nashville was proof of that.  Almost every single coach we spoke with suggested that Go Big is the future of game film submission and that the future is now.

“Interested in You” Emails- Many of the coaches we spoke with spent a long time searching our database for prospects whose film they would like to watch.  If you get an email letting you know a school has requested your film, make sure you send it to them if you have any interest at all in going to that school.  They specifically chose you from a list of close to 2,000 prospects!

The Buzz from the Coaches

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

The guys at Go Big Recruiting.com just got back from the American Football Coaches Association Convention in Nashville, TN and wanted to let you know what the college coaches we talked to had to say.

It Is Not Too Late- Though most of the major BCS conference schools have wrapped up their Class of 2009 recruits, other schools from Division I all the way to Division III, NAIA, and Junior College are still looking extremely hard to find quality prospects.  It is absolutely critical that you sign into your Go Big account and submit your film to EVERY school that you would consider attending or have an interest in.  You never know unless you try.

More to come in the next couple of days so stay tuned …
